FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is the estimate really free?

Yes. Call (903) 759-6745 and we'll set up a free estimate.

Do you use subcontractors?

No. Every worker is our employee, and a member of the Kay family supervises the job.

Will you be the cheapest bid?

Maybe not. We can't promise the lowest price. We do promise a competitive one, and a roof put on to local roofing standards.

Exposed or concealed fasteners on a metal roof?

On an exposed-fastener roof, the washers harden and crack in about ten years. We install both kinds, but we recommend concealed fasteners, which come with a 25 or 30 year color warranty from the manufacturer.

Can you fix a roof another roofer did?

Yes. We fix other roofers' mistakes often.

Why do you check my attic?

Poor attic ventilation shortens the life of your shingles and makes your A/C work harder. We tell you if yours needs attention.

My roof is pretty flat. Can it take shingles?

Only if the slope is steep enough. If it isn't, we'll tell you, and we'll put on a low-slope roofing system instead.

What do your carports come with?

Three sizes, for one, two or sometimes three cars. The roof is 26-gauge sheet metal, with a 30 year warranty from the manufacturer against defective material. A trim kit comes in your choice of colors.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. Ask about terms when you call (903) 759-6745.

When are you open?

Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Closed Saturday and Sunday.
